Tamiya 1/32 F-51D North American Mustang Model Kit

The F-51D (redesignated from P-51D post-war) saw extensive combat in the Korean War as the primary USAF ground attack fighter in 1950-51, before jets fully took over. Carrying rockets, bombs, and napalm, F-51Ds provided crucial close air support during the Pusan Perimeter defense and the drive north. Despite being a piston-engine aircraft in the jet age, its ability to operate from rough forward airstrips made it invaluable.
