The Volkswagen Golf in Polizei (police) service was a familiar sight on German roads, its combination of reliability, performance, and low operating costs making it ideal for patrol duties. German state police forces operated large fleets of white-and-green (later blue-and-silver) Golfs for general patrol, traffic enforcement, and response duties. The GTI and VR6 variants were particularly popular for their pursuit capability. This 1/24 Italeri kit features the Golf with full Polizei markings, roof light bar, and emergency equipment details.
