The Jaguar XJ220 was the fastest production car in the world when it debuted in 1992, reaching 217 mph with its twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 542 HP. Despite controversy over its downsized engine (the show car had a V12 with four-wheel drive), the XJ220's performance was staggering and its flowing aerodynamic body remains one of the most beautiful supercar designs ever penned.
