Tamiya 1/35 scale model of the Panzerkampfwagen II Ausf.D/C, the fast variant (Schnellpanzer) with Christie-type suspension. Unlike the standard torsion bar Panzer II, the Ausf.D used large road wheels on a Christie suspension for higher speed. Armed with the 20mm KwK 30, it was intended for rapid exploitation but proved mechanically unreliable. Most were converted to Flammpanzer II flamethrower tanks.
