Italeri 1/72 Stirling MK III Model Kit

The Short Stirling Mk.III was the RAF's first four-engine heavy bomber, entering service before the Lancaster and Halifax. While eventually superseded by the more capable Lancaster, the Stirling bore the weight of Bomber Command's early strategic offensive against Germany. The Stirling's tall landing gear and enormous wingspan made it an imposing aircraft. This 1/72 scale Italeri kit is a substantial build capturing one of the lesser-known but historically important British heavy bombers.
