The SV-51γ is the Anti-U.N. forces' variable fighter from Macross Zero, piloted by the formidable ace Nora Polyansky. Designed as the rival to the U.N.'s VF-0, the SV-51 was developed by the Sukhoi design bureau, giving it distinctly Russian aviation DNA with its swept wings and aggressive forward fuselage. This 1/72 scale Hasegawa kit features Nora's personal markings on the γ (gamma) unit. The SV-51's design by Shoji Kawamori brilliantly channels Su-27 Flanker aesthetics into the Macross variable fighter concept.
