Hasegawa 1/72 EA-18G Growler Vaq-131 Lancers Model Kit

The EA-18G Growler in VAQ-131 "Lancers" markings is the US Navy's dedicated electronic warfare aircraft, built on the proven F/A-18F Super Hornet airframe. The Growler replaced the EA-6B Prowler and carries the AN/ALQ-218 tactical jamming receiver, AN/ALQ-99 jamming pods, and AARGM anti-radiation missiles for suppression of enemy air defenses. VAQ-131, the "Lancers," is one of the Navy's premier electronic attack squadrons. Unlike the Prowler it replaced, the Growler retains air-to-air combat capability with AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles. Hasegawa captures the Growler with its distinctive wingtip jamming pods.
