Italeri 1/72 As 42 Sahariana Model Kit

The AS 42 Sahariana was Italy's purpose-built desert reconnaissance vehicle, developed from the civilian SPA-Viberti AS 37 for the North African campaign. Armed with a 20mm Breda cannon or machine guns, these open-topped vehicles carried Italian special forces and reconnaissance units across the Saharan wastes, performing long-range patrols similar to the British LRDG and SAS.
