The 1/537 scale USS Reliant from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan by AMT recreates the Miranda-class starship commanded by the genetically enhanced Khan Noonien Singh. The Reliant — originally Captain Terrell's ship on a survey mission — was hijacked by Khan and used to devastating effect against the Enterprise in the franchise's most celebrated film. The Miranda-class design by Joe Jennings inverted the Constitution-class layout, placing the warp nacelles below the saucer and mounting the torpedo pod on a dorsal rollbar. This distinctive silhouette became one of the most recognized Starfleet designs. At 1/537 scale, this kit builds to a substantial size.
