Italeri 1/35 M985 Hemtt Gun Truck Model Kit

The M985 HEMTT (Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck) Gun Truck is a field-modified version of the 10-ton 8x8 cargo hauler converted into an improvised fighting vehicle for convoy protection. In Iraq and Afghanistan, HEMTT platforms were fitted with armored cabs, ring-mounted M2 .50-caliber machine guns, and additional armor plating to protect supply convoys from IED and ambush attacks. The HEMTT's 500 HP Detroit Diesel and eight-wheel drive provide exceptional off-road mobility for a 33-ton vehicle. This 1/35 Italeri kit features the gun truck conversion with armored cab and weapons stations.
