Premium Bandai reopens RG G-3 Gundam Ver. 2.0; November ship

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. — Premium Bandai reopened reservations today in Japan for the RG 1/144 G-3 Gundam Ver. 2.0, with the second run set to deliver in November. The Japan listing is priced at ¥4,180 and went live at 11 a.m. JST.

The G-3 treatment applies the muted gray-and-blue scheme long associated with early-era appearances while keeping the Real Grade Ver. 2.0 frame. Bandai’s Ver. 2.0 update focuses on wider motion and cleaner part breaks, so the color-separated panels read crisply even without paint.

Feature notes from the launch cycle still apply. The elbows, knees and ankle-guard “magnet-coating” details were newly molded for this variant, and the kit supports transformation between the core block and Core Fighter. Markings and the full weapons suite remain in the box.

Region timing is staggered. The Japan page shows November shipment for this second batch, and a U.S. Premium Bandai page lists a November ship window at $50. Other regional portals set their own calendars, so delivery months can differ by market.

For buyers who missed the first offering, this reissue brings the RG 2.0 engineering back into circulation at list price rather than secondary-market levels. As usual for Premium Bandai, quantities are limited and order windows can close once allocations fill.
