Hasegawa’s 1/72 Queadluun-Rau ‘Milia’ (TV) lands late November

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. — Hasegawa has announced a TV-series version of the Queadluun-Rau piloted by Milia Fallyna Jenius, scheduled to reach Japanese retailers around Saturday, Nov. 29. The 1/72 kit lists at ¥7,590 and follows this year’s movie-color runs with a parts refresh aimed at the 1982 anime look.

The company flags “numerous newly molded parts” to bring the silhouette in line with the TV model. Packaging notes a five-color parts layout—green, cold gray, dark gray, black and clear red—so most of the on-screen palette is covered without paint. Articulation uses polycap joints across the body.

Gimmicks carry over from recent Queadluun-Rau releases and add TV-specific tweaks. The chest impact cannon moves on a ball joint; the three-barrel laser on the forearm rotates; and the small, high-mobility missile hatches on the back and legs can be posed open or closed via parts swaps. Each hand’s three fingers articulate at the base for more expressive poses.

Hasegawa’s parts list calls out new head, antenna, forearms, waist armor, shin and heel pieces, plus a small TV-version Milia insert (upper-body portion visible through the cockpit). The canopy opens, and the decal sheet covers Laplamiz fleet markings and character eye decals for the figure.

Retailers have started listing preorders, with some showing a late-November shelf date and the standard discount off MSRP. For buyers outside Japan, FineMolds-style “a few weeks later” import timing is a common pattern in this category; expect U.S. specialty shops to open purchase orders after domestic allocations firm up.

At today’s exchange rates, the ¥7,590 price translates to roughly $51; actual U.S. tags will vary with freight and retailer margins.
