Kith x Gunpla: Streetwear Icons Meet Mobile Suits in Unexpected "Kithmas" 2025 Drop

Santa Clarita, Calif. - In a move that has modelers and hypebeasts refreshing their browsers in unison, New York lifestyle brand Kith has officially unveiled its first-ever collaboration with Bandai Spirits. As part of the massive "Kithmas 2025" holiday collection, Ronnie Fieg’s brand has dropped two exclusive Master Grade (MG) Gunpla kits.

Released just a few days ago on December 5th, this collaboration bridges the gap between high fashion and the 30th Anniversary of Gundam Wing, offering a distinct "NYC" twist on two of the franchise's most legendary Mobile Suits.

Unlike the previous Supreme x Gundam collaboration (which featured a Recirculation/Clear Red RX-78-2), Kith has opted for a fully opaque, custom-colored approach inspired by their hometown roots—specifically the blue and orange hues synonymous with New York sports teams (Knicks/Mets).

Here is what we know about the two units:

  • The Kits:

    • MG 1/100 RX-78-2 Gundam (Kith Edition): The grandfather of all Gundams gets a streetwear remix. The classic tricolor (Red/Blue/Yellow) is replaced with a deep navy blue and vibrant orange palette.

    • MG 1/100 Wing Gundam (Kith Edition): Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Gundam Wing, this kit reimagines Heero Yuy’s original machine. The usually bright "hero colors" are swapped for the same matte navy and orange finish, giving the Wing a much stealthier, urban look.

  • Custom Markings:

    • Both kits come with a newly designed water-slide decal sheet featuring the Kith Box Logo (Bogo) and "Just Us" slogans, replacing standard Earth Federation or colonial markings.

  • Packaging:

    • Collectors will likely want to keep the box. The packaging features matte-finish artwork with Kith branding, designed to look as good on a sneaker shelf as it does in a backlog.
