SANTA CLARITA, Calif. — Hasegawa will release an all-new 1/24 kit of the Toyota Soarer (Z20) 3.0GT-Limited on Saturday, Nov. 1 in Japan. The company is tooling the late-model ’89 variant from the ground up, not reissuing an older mold.
The move stands out for car modelers because fully new tools from Hasegawa are less frequent than reissues or variants. For builders and retailers, a fresh late-’80s grand-touring coupe—one with ties to drift culture—fills a gap in the catalog and broadens fall lineups beyond repeat runs.

According to the announcement and product listings, the kit reproduces the air-suspension specification and includes optional aero parts, a detailed interior and height-adjustable stance (standard or low-down). Dimensions, window treatment and trim details are specified for display fidelity.
