SANTA CLARITA, Calif. — Bandai Spirits released the MGSD Gundam Aerial in Japan on Saturday, Aug. 23. The Master Grade SD kit lists at ¥4,290 and brings the series lead from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury to the brand’s high-detail SD format.

The kit leans on MG-style construction in a compact frame: metallic-silver internal parts, multi-color molding and layered camera-eye parts. Clear armor sections open to reveal the internal Shell Unit; a blue configuration represents the “Permet Score 6” state from the show.

Articulation goes beyond the usual SD range. Sliding exterior panels and multi-jointed limbs support kneeling poses, while jointed hands improve weapon grip and posing stability.

In the box are a beam rifle, two beam sabers, a shield that separates into individual bits, effect parts—including pieces to portray the Permet Score 6 look—and marking seals. Early retail pages in Japan highlight the set as a general-retail release.

Bandai Spirits published images and product details ahead of launch. As of publication, distribution notes were Japan-focused; global listings typically follow after domestic release as regional shops update calendars.

For builders, this lands as a dense, display-ready Aerial with MG-style gimmicks in SD scale—suited to dynamic poses or “bits deployed” dioramas without aftermarket parts.
